cereal boy
Reagan was very curious about Liam's cereal too. She kept wanting to try it. So I gave her a bite. She scraped it off her tongue so fast I am not sure she even tasted it. The next morning, the first thing she said when she woke up was "Liam's cereal is yuck. My not lika baby food. My lika big girl cereal." Guess she won't be asking to share anytime soon. :)
Did you know...
Did you know...
that Reagan is potty trained??! For the most part anyway. We have been working on it for like 3 weeks (I think?). She only wears 'unnawears' at home (except for bedtime). She has been wearing a pull-up when we leave home. Tonight, we were out to dinner and she asked to go potty. She actually peed in public! She thought I was nuts because I held her above the toilet. But come on, public restrooms are gross. I guess this potty training thing just got more serious!
that we are currently obsessed with Disney princess movies??? We watch Cinderella, Snow White, and Sleeping Beauty every day. At least once. There are a lot of scary parts in Snow White and Sleeping Beauty so we don't watch the whole thing. Reagan says 'not this part' so we skip around for the dancing, singing, and kissing. According to her, Snow White is her favorite. We sing the work song from Cinderella constantly.
that the first crime I commit (aside from underage consumption long ago ;) ) will be murdering my dog? I have lost all patience for him. I feel bad, sometimes. But really, I have enough to deal with without the dog whining at me. I can't wait until the snow melts. Then we could take him for a walk and such. But right now, we are stuck indoors and its killing me.
that Liam started eating cereal this week?? It was a *bit* sooner than they recommend (a week shy of 4 months). But he has been waking up a ton at night... like every 1-2 hours. Its been awful. Actually worse than when he was a newborn. So I thought maybe since he is huge that he might be hungry. He has been liking it. But unfortunately, still not sleeping well. Teething is my next guess. Or just an annoying unexplainable baby phase. I will post some pictures of him soon.

Good Role Model!
Reagan is currently obsessed with this song! Its my fault, I was singing it and dancing with her. We watch it on YouTube like 20 times a day. Of course, Reagan asked "whatsa name?". So I told her Lady Gaga. So now she says, Lady Gaga so nice! LOL. Great role model!

My little momma
I never cease to be amazed by how much Liam and Reagan adore each other. I consider myself very blessed that Reagan is a little momma who wants to help and hold her brother.
When I was getting ready this morning, I put Liam in his crib. I assumed Reagan would join him, she always does. When I went to check on them, I had to run and get the camera. She was orginally laying beside him reading. When I came in, she sat up.
Check out how lucky Liam is to have such a wonderful big sister!

Actually, I like food
Out of the mouth of my babe...
Daddy and Reagan went to get groceries at Giant Eagle last weekend. In the meat department, there is a lobster tank. Reagan has mixed feelings about it. Sometimes she is freaked out and sometimes she says "Reaggie lika lobsters". Regardless, she always wants to see them. Daddy told her that people buy the lobsters to eat them. Then he asked her, do you like to eat lobsters? To which she replied...
"No, my like to eat food."
:)
Reagan's new word is actually. And actually, she uses it correctly most of the time. I am not sure where she got it, I don't think that I say it that often. The other night, the whole fam was playing in her room. I was laying on the bed and Reagan kept asking me to play toys on the floor. I told her no, I just want to lay on the bed. Her response:
"Actually, you want to play toys with me on the floor."

Whatsa name?
Reagan has a recent obsession with names. Each time we see someone new she immediately asks "Whatsa name?" (meaning whats her name, but it comes out whatsa, hehe). When she watches movies or plays with her toys she repeatedly asks "whatsa name?" for everything. She likes to review our names--> daddy name NicWade (one word), mommy name Shannon Wade, my name Reaggie Lizbeth Wade, and Wonka name Bob.
So now, as Reagan plays with her dolls, I have been asking her whatsa names! She has given me some interesting answers that I thought I should share...
Reagan's babies are named:
boy
kid
potato head
girl
baby
dolly
and Ava.

Note to self...
I think I need someone to make me a large reminder sign that reads... "DO NOT LEAVE CHILD UNATTENDED- EVEN FOR A BRIEF MOMENT."
We were getting dinner ready. I was doing something with Liam and daddy was getting something in the kitchen. In other words, Reagan was alone at the table. She loves to add parmesan cheese to her pasta but we only let her do it with us right there. Otherwise, she gets a little carried away.
Well, she helped herself to some cheese right out of the bottle.

3 months old!
We brought in the new year with Liam's 3 month birthday! We literally see him change before our eyes. Liam is such a happy boy. He loves to be held. He smiles and talks all the time. He spends much of his day studying his hands. At first he only found the right one, so he would hold it up by his face and rotate it around in awe. Now he knows he has two! So of course, he has started to grab and hold things. I love to watch his new discoveries!
He started laughing recently. It is the most precious thing. You can't help but to giggle with him. The source of his laughter is always Reagan! He adores her. Last night, she read him 3 books. She just sat by him reading and he watched her every move. I hope they will continue to get along this well as the grow.
I know that things are more 'fun' as babies grow. They interact more and continue to develop a personality. So I told myself I was ok with Liam's little baby stages passing quickly. But each day he does something new, I want to freeze time. He is already growing up too fast and I want him to stay my kissable little cuddle bud forever!
She's an outdoor girl!
Reagan has always been an outdoor girl. When she was an extremely fussy infant, being outside was the only thing that would calm her- thank goodness she was born in June! Even now, she loves to be outside. The cold, the rain, the heat... she doesn't care! She just wants to be outside.

Here is the snowman that daddy built. He claims it was the wrong kind of snow. So he had to use the recycling bins to mold it.
wow... you need an update!
Happy Holidays! We have been busy to say the least, so I will use that as my excuse for not updating. I have so much to say, I guess I will just go chronologically. We had a fabulous Christmas! Reagan had been eagerly awaiting Santa's arrival. On Christmas morning, she was disappointed that Santa wasn't actually here anymore. She was happy with the presents, but really wanted to see Santa and didn't understand why he would bring presents while she was sleeping. According to her, he will probably be back soon.
Santa Brought Reagan a lot of great stuff! She loves to paint so an easel was the perfect idea! We actually took a painting break while opening.
Liam was mesmerized by presents, but a bit young to open them himself.
The artist hard at work.
Liam's favorite present was mommy's new mirror. He was cracking himself up.
The Wade Fam! Notice that Reagan and I have matching jammies. :)
