Dressing herself

Here is the outfit Reagan picked out for herself:

The foundation is pajamas, then a skirt, then a dress. And of course, accessorized with "ballerina shoes".

Making a move

Our house is officially for sale! When we bought our house, we planned to live here for about 5 years and then upgrade. Well, this weekend marks our 5 year house anniversary! Talk about sticking to the plan! Actually, we have been dreaming of a bigger, more luxurious house for a while. We were getting our house ready to put on the market (August was our goal) but then the perfect house fell into our laps! Its in the same neighborhood as Grammar and Wonka. We LOVE it. So we made an offer (before our house was listed) and are currently in contract to purchase it! Now of course the catch is that we need to sell our current home (in less than 90 days)... so if you know anyone in Kent looking for a house, send them my way!

Here is our hopefully new house!

Good mommy award

Last weekend, I was in the kitchen getting things ready for us to leave. Reagan was in the living room and kept saying "mommy mommy mommy". Being the wonderful mother that I am, I replied "mommy is busy, if you need something come here!". Well, after she continued to say my name at least 100 times, I decided I better go see. When I got into the living room she said "Uh-oh, What happened to Liam?!?!"

This is what I found...

He was happy as could be stuck under the shoe rack! Now about that good mommy award... ;)

Playing catch

Reagan is a fast learner and surprisingly super coordinated. She and daddy were playing catch the other night. I was super impressed! She definitely didn't get her athletic skills from me!

He's mobile!

I guess I should officially post the fact that Liam is CRAWLING everywhere!!!! He started to crawl a little on Monday (like 2-3 scoots before he would fall) and each day he has gotten better and gone farther. This morning he went from the couch all the way into the kitchen. He doesn't really like to transition from floor types (i.e. the carpeted dining room to the tile kitchen) so he has typically been hanging out in the doorways. Of course, I am sure that won't last. So I suppose its officially time to get everything baby proofed again!

In other news, as of this morning, Liam pulls himself up to the side of his crib!

What a big boy!

Our new ride

With 2 babes who love to go on walks, a double stroller is a must. I had one that Grammar found at a yard sale but it was reeeaaallly heavy to push with both kids. So after much comparison shopping, I ordered this one! Reagan helped me assemble it. She was so excited about it that she ate her snack and watched some TV in it before we took it outside to try.

Here we are headed out for a walk on Mother's Day.

Definitely an awesome purchase! I love it!

Snacks

Liam is so interested in food and totally jealous if you are eating something without him. Therefore, if we are having something, he is having something. His favorites are puffs and mum mums. But the Easter bunny brought him some teething biscuits to try. The label says to eat them while seated. I think they should edit the label to say "Warning: These are a huge mess!"

Typically Liam has puffs at the table and I just give him one or two at a time. I decided to try them in a little bowl. It was a huge hit! He had a great time playing and snacking.

Her favorite thing

Reagan is a very well-rounded girlie girl. For as much as she loves walking shoes, princesses, and nail polish she loves being outside even more. Reagan would spend all day every day outside, regardless of the weather. She is lucky to have a grammar willing to take her out to the 'forest'.

7 months!

May is here and Liam is officially 7 months old. I am declaring our 7th month to be the "month of movement". Liam is working so hard to crawl. He gets himself up all the time and can scoot once or twice before he falls to his belly. Each time, he gets more frustrated that he can't just get up and go. So of course, his new favorite thing to do it have you hold his hands so he can walk around. It gets old, fast.

Liam loves to be outside. If he is crying, looking out the window is a quick fix as he gets so excited to see outside. We are hoping every day that spring will actually arrive and we can spend more of our days out in the sunshine!

Liam is an eater! He will eat anything. Except green beans. If you give him a bite of beans, he immediately gags! It never fails and I find it hilarious. So we have to trick him and mix them with other stuff. We have been giving him more food from our plates and his is thrilled! He had some spaghetti for dinner the other night, it was a huge success.

Liam is so ready to play with Reagan! He adores her. He wants to be doing whatever she is doing and loves when she talks to him. I am hoping it is a sign that they will be great friends.

I am soooo not ready for the next phase of babyhood. A mommy of two is hard enough... I can't imagine a mommy of two WALKING babes. Liam can just take his time with the next milestones...
