Happy Easter!
We had a lovely time celebrating Liam's first Easter. We started the day with the excitment of the bunny's visit! He left some goodies for the kids and even hid eggs around the house! Then we spent the day with good food and family and without naps (made for an interesting evening).

The bunny must have known that Liam isn't ready for candy because got a lot of new big boy snacks in his Easter basket. Yummy puffs!

Little chef
Reagan helped mommy make snickerdoodles today. We can definitely add "little chef" to her resume! She loves to cook. Getting her to cooperate during a photo is another story!

Who doesn't love a box?!
6 months old
The most lovable little boy just turned 6 months old! It amazes me that he is already half way to 1! I feel like I am not going to remember anything about his babyhood as the last 6 months just feel like a blur. His 6 month stats (his appt was today which is my excuse for not posting this a few days ago): Length- 27 1/2 inches (90%) Weight- 17 lbs 12 oz (50%) Head- 17 inches (75%) His length and head size are following a nice curve. His weight on the other hand is all over the place. He was like 60th at birth, then 90th, then 95th, then 75th, then 60th, and then 50th. Hmmm...? His doctor isn't worried because he obviously plenty big enough. She said he was probably overweight at 1 and 2 months (haha). I took this picture at almost exactly his 6 month birthday (9:57 am on April 1st). He was cracking up laughing, playing his toys, and babbling away. When I get the camera out- this is the face he makes. Every time! I probably took 20 of this same picture and they are identical.
I got the idea from a friend to take a picture with a label every month. So I have been doing it each month. Now, it is going to be more of a challenge...
The main adjective you could use to describe Liam would be CURIOUS. As you can see, my 6 month sign was promptly moved and tasted. No matter where I put it, he grabbed it. He is a nosey little guy who wants to know what that is and how it tastes.
About a month ago, we started feeding Liam "solids". So he has been eating rice cereal, oatmeal cereal, peas, and carrots. He LOVES everything we have given him. However, something we have been giving him doesn't love him so much. About 2 weeks ago, he started having diarrhea. He didn't seem sick so we just tried to wait it out. After sleepless nights and no improvement, we went to the doctor last week. She told me to just nurse him and give him rice. We thought it was working until he (TMI) had a bloody stool. Scary. So we took the diaper in and they ran some tests. Oddly, all of the tests were normal/negative. Now we are trying to figure out what is causing his issues. So for now, he is not having any oatmeal and I am not supposed to supplement with any formula. I got the ok to give him food again, but I am not going back to peas or carrots, just in case. So he had some pears for dinner! He squealed and smacked his lips the whole time. So I would say it was a success.
