Wade Info

So blogger and I are just not getting along. It won't upload my photos! So I apologize for no current Reagan photos. I will try to get some up soon. Usually I use our home computer for my blogging purposes. But its currently getting repaired (mysterious screen damage... hmmm...). So I use my work computer. It doesn't always do exactly as I ask it to!

So I thought I would just give you some random Wade info.

- Reagan and I started back to school this week. She has done a FABULOUS job! I was wondering how she would transition. It has not been an issue at all. She willingly gets ready in the morning and her teachers say that she has a great day. Actually, today her teacher said she wishes she had 6 more kids just like her. They just gush over how "good" she is!! Can't complain about that! My transition back to school has been alright. I am exhausted, beyond exhausted, when the day is done. My entire body just aches! But, I don't know what else to expect, I am 8 months pregnant and on my feet all day!

- We are getting things ready for baby Liam to join our family. His clothes will be washed this weekend and his room is totally ready for him. I am anxious to meet him and definitely counting down the days!

- At my last doctor appointment, my OB said that Liam is still breech. I had a c-section with Reagan because she was breech. So.... we are hoping he flips himself around. He is quickly running out of space (and time). At my next appt, on Tuesday, if he is still seeming to be breech, I will have an ultrasound and then we will talk about flipping him. I would really like to avoid having another c-section so lets all hope he turns himself around! I posted my latest belly photo on the babiesonline site.

- Reagan is obsessed with eating "me-nunchs". What is a me-nunch you ask?! Well, its a SANDWICH of course!!! :) She is always asking if you are making a me-nunch and if you have one, you better know that you will be sharing it!

Ok, enough chatting for now. Have a lovely weekend.

The other transformations

I started the summer with a long list of things to accomplish. We are finally getting everything done! Some of the list items included making our extra bedroom a baby room for Liam and transitioning Reagan into a big girl bed.

The transition into the big girl bed was way easier than I expected. I really thought it would take days of night waking and crying. I am so glad I was wrong! Reagan has done a wonderful job. She stays in her bed (knock on wood) and tells us when she is awake. She loves to bring all her toys to bed with her, so its a good thing she has a lot of extra space!

Liam's room is nearly finished as well! We have the crib ready to go and all of his stuff put away. I started washing everything and packing his bag for the hospital. I got the infant car seat out of the basement, cleaned it, and now all we have left to do is wait. I am definitely ready for him to be here. This being hugely pregnant in a super hot summer stuff is not for me!

Here it is... Liam's Room.

Changing area.
I really hated the idea of losing an extra bed (since this used to be the extra bedroom). I was thankful that we could still fit a twin bed! Mommy will have somewhere to lay during late night feedings.
Crib and dresser.

Reagan's Big girl room:

Her dresser is always stocked with stuff we don't want her to reach. :)

Big girl bed! You can see the amount of "extras" that have to be in there!

Its DONE!

To be completely honest, the bathroom remodel was killing me. First, the project took way longer than expected. We were told 3-4 days. In reality, it took 9 work days but really it was 13 days of no bathroom. The nesting instinct does not mesh well with messiness!

So now, I am so SO thankful that is done! It is a completely different place. It is so wonderful to shower and get ready in one location. Every morning Reagan says "oooh, looks nice". She is pleased with her new tub as well!

And now for the after photos...

We still have some finishing touches to add. But it is completely functional and stuff is put away!
