She loves the sink

Reagan absolutely loves to wash her hands and play in the sink. She will beg to turn the water on and move a chair into the kitchen. When we give in and let her, she would seriously play there for hours. She was all sticky from eating a fruit roll-up, so she was supposed to wash her hands.

She washed the counter...
And a cup that was already clean...
Of course, you can't play in the sink without getting a few drinks yourself!!

She is pointing to a picture of Nic and I. She is saying "daddy!" She is definitely going to be a huge daddy's girl.... or I suppose she is already!

Sharing the news...

On January 30th, we recieved some very unexpected news.... We're pregnant!!

Of course, we were immediately panicked and full of negative "what-ifs", especially considering what has happened recently. I think it was honestly the first time joy was not my primary emotion. Well, my first round of bloodwork yielded good news. I went to the doctor on Friday and everything continued to go well. Then today... we had our first ultrasound. Here is what we saw:

Our brand new little peanut measured 7 weeks and had a wonderfully strong heartrate of 147 beats per minute. Nothing is more powerful than that little flicker of a new heartbeat. Of course, we are overwhelmed with joy and happiness.

Our new baby is due on October 4, 2010. We couldn't be happier.

She counts :)

Reagan loves to count everything. She can *impressively* count up to nine. She was counting over and over again so I ran to get the camera. The video is pretty much the top of her head, but you can hear her mad countin' skills.

She was a bit distracted by whatever gross object was in her mouth and she skipped five... but you get the idea. She is such a smartie pants!

Helping with the laundry

Reagan loves to help mommy and daddy with whatever we are doing. When I was folding laundry, Reagan decided to lend a hand. Her idea of helping is to unload the laundy and spread it around the living room. Poor Boone just happened to be laying on the floor...

Anytime Boone tried to get up or take the underwear off his head, Reagan would shout "No-no lay down." He is such a good boy!

"I love you"

Yesterday, Reagan said the 3 most precious little words. She said "I love you!". In the past, when you said I love you Reagan, she would say thank you. :) But yesterday she said I love you right back!

Definitely a heart melter...
