Big girl!

I have lost my blog posting groove. We have been busy and Reagan has been doing so much, but I guess I just haven't made time to share those events with you. Sorry! I will try to do better, but being unmotivated is kind of my thing lately. I would just like to spend as much like laying around as possible. And between work, grad school, house stuff, and my family those moments are hard to find! I am sure you can forgive me. :)

In other news, Reagan peed on the potty tonight!!!! We are not potty training at all. However, she talks about going potty and we have a little potty for her. Tonight, when we were doing naked butts before bed, she said "Reagan poop on the potty" and I said "Do you want to sit on the potty?". Reagan grabbed my hand and said "uh huh, lets go mommy". So I got her potty out and sure enough! She peed! She was so proud and we all cheered for her. I guess its a step in the right direction... but I am still not ready to really start any potty training.

I had a baby doctor appointment this week. Everything is going well. The baby's heartrate was 160 bpm. I am feeling pretty good. My wardrobe is suffering right now though! It is so hard to get dressed when nothing fits right... and its just the beginning! The best news is that we scheduled our ultrasound for May 10th!! The new baby will reveal his/her gender at 9am. I am super excited and will be surprised either way. My prediction is boy, I guess. I am not confident. Nic said he doesn't know, but he guesses girl. Girl or boy, it doesn't matter to me!

When I was pregnant with Reagan, I updated a babies online page to document my pregnancy. I thought I should do the same for baby #2. I have been updating and transforming the old babies online page. We have been taking belly photos every 2 weeks, so decided to post them on there. If you are interested in pregnancy related news, I posted the link on the side. But you could also click here.

I will post pregnancy related things on here too, but that site will be dedicated to our new little growing baby.

The bunny came!

This morning, the Easter Bunny delivered Reagan a basket filled with goodies. She was so excited to open every item and loved all the new toys. She also hunted for eggs around the house. When she openned each one she said "oooh wow".






One of the items the bunny bought was a Buzz Lightyear kite. We flew it this afternoon. It was so much fun! Reagan laughed and ran alongside daddy while he flew it. Of course, the wind was weak so it crashed a lot and didn't get very high. But I think the crashing was one of Reagan's favorite parts! I didn't take the camera or my phone so we don't have any documentation of the event, so you will just have to imagine how exciting it was.

All things Easter

Yesterday, daddy took Reagan to her first Easter Egg Hunt! The weather was perfect. I was sad to miss the big hunt but had other important events to attend! Daddy said that Reagan wasn't really sure what to do at first. But I think once she realized candy was involved she figured it out quickly!

At 13 weeks 3 days, there is no denying the fact that I am pregnant!



Now that I am officially in the second trimester, I am starting to feel better. I still feel awful if I go too long without eating. But I suppose that is my own fault and I just need to remember to eat more often. Last week, I thought I felt the baby move but doubted myself because its so early. However, now I am sure, I'm definitely feeling the baby! I think thats the most exciting thing about pregnancy.
