We love The Wiggles!

Reagan had a wonderful birthday party! I will post some photos from the big day later. Right now, I just had to share this video of Reagan dancing. She loves to listen to The Wiggles. We got her a CD and DVD for her birthday. When she wants to watch/listen, she will bring me the case and say "diss".

If you listen carefully, you can hear her doing the animal sounds (monkey and elephant). Could she be any cuter?!

Stats

We had Reagan's one year well-check today. The doctor was very impressed by her vocabulary and noticed, right away, what a ham she is! Of course, Reagan also showed us all how loud she could scream! She weighs 20 1/2 lbs and is 29 inches long. Both measurements put her in the 50th percentile. She is still our perfect little peanut!!

We got Reagan's photos taken at Portrait Innovations. I love that place! They take tons of pictures, they are really affordable, and they print them out right there! I highly recommend it.

One year ago...

One year ago, we were anxiously waiting to meet our little girl. It seems like only yesterday...

*sigh* the stairs

The stairs are our new favorite adventure. If the gate at the bottom is left open for more than a second, Reagan is heading upstairs! She climbs them remarkably well. And very quickly, especially if you come to get her!

Trying to keep cool

Nothing cools you off like water fresh from the hose! Reagan loves to splash around in her swimming pool.

Did I mention that Boone loves the pool too?! While Reagan was playing in the water, Boone was laying in the yard with the saddest, most pathetic look on his face. I didn't let him get in with Reagan. So when she was done, I told him it was his turn. Reagan laughed so hard watching him spin around in the water!

Just getting a drink

Reagan must take after her Uncle Max with her love of hose water! She just can't get enough drinks when the hose is out. Its too adorable not to share.

Just the grown-ups

Nic and I left Reagan with Gramma and Grampa D so that we could go to a wedding. It was an adult only evening. We definitely don't get very many of those!

Windy Jr.

When I was little, my grandpa gave me the nickname Windy. You can imagine why! Well, I definitely have a Windy Jr. on my hands. Here is a list of Reagan's vocabulary at 11 1/2 months.

A carseat comparison

I couldn't help but get tears in my eyes as I posted these pictures. Can you believe how big she has gotten?! Say good-bye to the infant carseat...

New trick

Reagan learned a great new trick. She can now open her own puff container! This is what happened...

Reagan was very busy picking them up one at a time to eat them.

Even Boone wouldn't eat them all!

Turning into a kid...

Reagan loves to shop through any drawer, closet, or cupboard. She went into daddy's closet and came out with this tie on! She put it on all by herself! :) Then she went into the kitchen and got this empty bottle. Look what a big girl she is! I can't believe how much of a 'kid' she is now!
